BA Roman Szandra

She has been interested in helping people since her childhood, therefore she went to a medical secondary school, where she qualified as a nurse’s aide. Later she graduated with a BA in Psychology.

Currently, she is a full-time MA student of Work and Organizational Psychology at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Debrecen, and is also attending a specialized training course in Systems-Approach Coaching. She is a member of the Talent Development Program of the University of Debrecen (DETEP).

She is writing her MA thesis on the integration of Ukrainian refugees in the Hungarian labor market.

Her language skills are German, Ukrainian and Russian, and she is also studying English.

She has been actively involved in relief work since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Primarily because there were a large number of pregnant women, even women about to give birth, and patients on permanent medical treatment who spoke only Ukrainian and Russian, she helped them with hospital care and communication.

She is also a member of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, where she is involved in the integration and interpretation of Ukrainian citizens displaced by the Russian-Ukrainian war. She is involved in the organization and implementation of community programmes for them.
